Information We Collect

Account information. Email address and display name, collected when you create an account. Used for authentication and profile display only.

Study data. Your decks, cards, and study session history. Used to power the spaced repetition algorithm. Stored on Appwrite (see Third-Party Services below).

Purchase information. Subscription status. Processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) through RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.

Crash reports and diagnostics. Device model, OS version, and anonymized stack traces. Collected by Sentry for error monitoring. To diagnose errors, Sentry may also record an anonymized replay of app screens around the time of a crash (and a small sample of regular sessions); text and sensitive content are masked in these replays. Reports are anonymized after 90 days.

Analytics. Anonymous usage events (screen views, feature usage). Collected by Vexo. No personally identifiable information is associated with these events.

Push notification token. Device token for sending study reminders. Stored by Expo and Appwrite. You can revoke push notification permissions at any time in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the app. To send study reminders (only with your permission). To process Pro subscription payments. To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Community Marketplace

Decks you publish to the marketplace are visible to all Encore users. You can make a deck private at any time from the deck settings. Deck content you share is attributed to your display name.
